En efterlängtad nyhet i Stockholms modevärld.
Nu slår The Local Firm upp dörrarna till en egen butik. Den 19 mars klockan 16.00 är det premiär för The Local Firms första egna butik i Bruno Gallerian.
Butiken kommer att hålla öppet under 8 veckor fram till den 16 maj under namnet "The Local Firm" Propaganda Store"
Interiören och konceptet i butiken följer TLF´s grundinspiration från det forna östblocket och Bauhaus rörelsen. Råa ytor och material i nyanser av grått, blandas med 90 tals "low-tech".
"Vi ser det som en möjlighet att med en tillfällig plattform, visa våra kunder hela The Local Firm's koncept och inriktning. Här ska man ha möjlighet att se och känna på hela kollektionen, bland annat våra vanligaste jeans, men också hitta guldkorn som inte finns någon annanstans, eller bara komma in, prata lite och lära känna The Local Firm bättre" - säger Axel Nyhage och Richard Hutchinson på The Local Firm.
Under de 8 veckorna butiken är öppen kommer det också att släppas unika produkter som bara kommer att säljas på "The Propaganda Store"

The Local Tree is The Local Firm's interpretation of a classical christmas tree. We have drawn inspiration from a work in progress and created an industrial feeling with the use of industrial lights and playing with shadows. To see the tree in full, visit Hotel Birger Jarl in Stockholm.

SWEDISH FASHION - EXPLORING A NEW IDENTITY
As one of thirteen brands, The Local Firm is part of the world touring exhibition "Swedish Fashion- Exploring a new identity". The exhibition started fall 2008 and will during its two year tour visit, Europe, Asia, Russia and North America

MARBLED FANTASY
In collaboration with The Local Firm, the Swedish artist Åsa Cederqvist has made the art movie "Marbled Fantasy", where Åsa has used The Local Firm's design code and aesthetics as inspiration. The movie premiered 15th of August 2008.
